BRING WITH YOU
Your trip memorabilia – tickets, receipts, maps, etc.
Come through the door. We make introductions, get comfortable, and talk about where you have been and what Sri Lanka has felt like so far. No agenda. Just arrival.
Authentic Sri Lankan tea poured — with a little explanation of how Sri Lankans drink it and why it matters. Local snacks at the side. Then the stories, about Sri Lankan culture, history, and the daily life here.
The table is laid with materials — papers in different textures and weights, covers in fabric and card, ribbons, botanicals, small printed pieces of Sri Lankan ephemera. You choose what speaks to you, layer with your own memorabilia from the trip, and bind your journal by hand with simple techniques guided step by step.
You receive your prompt cards. You take your time to write — no pressure, no right answers. Just your thoughts about your journey, captured while they’re still fresh. Those who want can share a line at the end.
Before you leave, you will learn to write your name in the Sinhala script — one of the oldest and most beautiful alphabets in the world. It takes about ten minutes. Most guests add it to their journal cover. Nobody forgets it.
Then: a warm goodbye, your sealed future-self letter tucked inside, and a prompt card to take home.

Not at all. This experience is designed for beginners and anyone curious about slowing down and enjoying a creative afternoon.
Not at all. I will guide every stitch. The beauty lies in the imperfect, handmade look.
Just yourself. All materials and creative supplies are provided. If you have the travel memorabilia that you collected during the trip please bring them along to make your journal more personalized.
No. The experience is relaxed, conversational, and designed to feel warm and personal rather than instructional.
The prompts are very optional. You can scribble, doodle, sketch, or whatever you feel comfortable. The journal can become a scrapbook too.
Yes. I live in Pelawatta, just 12km from Colombo city. I’ll send exact directions and a map pin after booking.
I am offering a small number of complimentary sessions to early guests — in exchange for an honest review on Google. No pressure, no obligation to be kind. Just tell people what it was actually like. That is all I ask.
